The Motorcyclists Confederation of Canada (MCC) is excited to announce the launch of its Off-Road Motorcycle Training program, ORM 101.
Designed to provide a strong foundation in essential riding skills, this comprehensive course is tailored for riders of all levels looking to enhance their off-road capabilities. With a focus on safety and skill development, the program promises to empower participants with practical knowledge and confidence on the trails.
First tested in Nova Scotia in 2024, the ORM 101 program spans 5-7 hours of hands-on training. The course covers critical topics such as throttle control, braking, body positioning, and navigating various terrain types. Whether you’re a beginner seeking to learn the basics or an experienced rider looking to refine your technique, ORM 101 offers valuable insights and instruction from skilled professionals.
To expand the program nationwide, MCC seeks passionate and qualified coaches to join their team. If you’re enthusiastic about sharing your expertise and helping riders improve their off-road skills, this is an excellent opportunity to get involved. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact their provincial motorcycling association or the MCC for more information on becoming a certified coach.
With ORM 101, the MCC aims to set a new standard for off-road motorcycle training across Canada, promoting safe riding practices and fostering a stronger motorcycling community. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this exciting initiative!
