December 2024 – Hamilton, ON and Forest, ON: The Canadian Motorcycle Association (CMA) and the Motorcyclists Confederation of Canada (MCC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to create a unified national body representing Canadian motorcyclists.
After extensive discussions, both organizations agree that a single representative entity will better serve their members and the broader motorcycling community. The MOU outlines plans to merge resources and expertise to establish a new organization that will address recreational, competition, policy, and economic efficiency needs.
CMA CEO Ross de St. Croix stated, “This is an exciting step toward unifying Canada’s motorcycling community. By working together, we can better nurture our sport and deliver stronger national representation.”
MCC Chairman Dave Millier added, “The CMA’s legacy and international affiliations combined with the MCC’s broader reach will create a stronger, more effective organization for all Canadian motorcyclists.”
The new organization aims to launch in 2025. It will combine the strengths of both groups to enhance the future of motorcycling in Canada.
