In Memoriam: Paul McGeachie
Motorcyclists Confederation of Canada

As the end of the year approaches, the Motorcyclists Confederation of Canada mourns the sudden and untimely passing of Paul McGeachie, a dedicated board member and tireless advocate for motorcyclist safety, who died in October.

Paul’s journey with the MCC began on November 20, 2016, when he joined the board and was immediately elected to the executive committee as Secretary/Treasurer. His impact on the organization’s finances was significant, ensuring transparency and accountability. In 2018, he transitioned to the role of Treasurer, a position he held until the end of 2023.

Beyond his financial acumen, Paul was a passionate advocate for motorcyclist safety. He was instrumental in forming the Communications and Public Relations Committee, chaired from 2019 to 2023. His vision extended to creating a Canada-wide on-road Motorcycle Safety Symposium, which he spearheaded with unwavering dedication. This ambitious initiative, bringing together experts and stakeholders from across the country, will be a lasting testament to Paul’s commitment to improving the safety of motorcyclists on our roads.

Paul’s contributions to the MCC are immeasurable. His leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the motorcycling community will be deeply missed. His legacy will live on through the initiatives he championed and the countless lives he touched.

The MCC extends its deepest condolences to Paul’s family and friends. We share your loss and support you during this difficult time. Paul’s passion, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the motorcycling community will be deeply missed.

Your legacy will forever be woven into the fabric of the Motorcyclists

Confederation of Canada.

Ride on, Paul.
