The Motorcyclists Confederation of Canada (MCC) is the national not-for-profit advocacy organization for the promotion of motorcycling interests. We work with member organizations to unite Canadian motorcyclists by promoting, protecting and preserving their rights so they are free to enjoy motorcycling as a sport, leisure activity, and means of personal transportation.
We provide a forum for members from across the country to share in our expertise and communicate their needs to key decision makers and the public. Collaborating with member federations, clubs, partners, international organizations and individual patrons, MCC advances public policy and traffic safety issues that are important to Canadian motorcyclists.
MCC communicates with government (both politicians and officials), communities of interest and the media to ensure our voice is heard and our recommendations acted upon. Our goal is to make on- and off-road riding safe, accessible and enjoyable for everyone. Through our alliances with member organizations and international partners, we deliver a strong voice and respected place for Canada in the motorcycling world.
As a founding patron of the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame, MCC is also committed to preserving Canada’s motorcycling heritage.

The MCC Board of Directors
The MCC Board of Directors is made up of volunteer representatives, all elected for two year terms by our member federations.
Interested in being part of what we do? Volunteers are the heart of the MCC and they play a vital role in defining and advancing our objectives and programs. If you are passionate about motorcycling and are looking for opportunities to give back to the motorcycling community, meet new people, have new experiences, or simply for professional development skills training, volunteering for the MCC may be right for you.
Please contact MCC President Daniel Tessier at daniel@motorcycling.ca to learn about our volunteer opportunities. We will work with you to find a volunteer position that is best for you.

History of the MCC
As recently as 2004, there was no national organization fostering the growth and development of motorcycling in Canada.
Motorcyclists are a relatively small group in Canada whose concerns often go unheard. Issues of importance to the motorcycling community often do not receive the attention they merit. In addition, there has been no unified voice to dispel the myths and misconceptions about motorcycling, or to lobby for changes to restrictive legislation and discriminatory business practices against motorcyclists and motorcycling activities.
In June 2004, 37 organizations gathered at a founding congress for what was then called the Motorcyclists Alliance of Canada (MAC). They signed an agreement-in-principle to come together to create a new national association to serve motorcycling and motorcyclists in Canada. Together with manufacturer and distributor members, a total of 49 organizations and companies established membership in MAC. Shortly thereafter, the organization was renamed the Motorcyclists Confederation of Canada (MCC).
Today, many of the associations that belong to MCC are coalitions or federations, and their member organizations are also members of MCC. Within two years of the founding of MCC, well over 200 motorcycle organizations have become involved, representing about 70,000 riders.
